Adventures
These offerings are multi-day backpacking experiences designed to immerse guests fully in the rhythm of the natural world. Guided by the Baker Road team, each trip moves through carefully selected terrain that invites both physical challenge and mental clarity. Our routes are chosen not just for their beauty, but for their ability to create space for reflection, connection, and perspective.
Participants carry what they need and travel together at a steady, intentional pace. Days are shaped by the trail rather than a fixed schedule, allowing the experience to unfold naturally. Preparation details are shared in advance, but the full shape of the journey reveals itself over time, encouraging presence, adaptability, and trust in the process.

Your investment in this adventure includes all guidance, group gear, permit fees, and dinners on the trail. Participants will incur additional costs for their personal gear, trail nutrition, and transportation to the trainings and trip. For prior Cohorts, participants have invested between $400 - $1,000 additional dollars in equipment. This secondary spend will be based on your existing experience, gear, and patience navigating FB Marketplace. Baker Road has limited rental kits available, if helpful.Description text goes here
EXPLORE MORE EXPERIENCES
Hi again friends. We’re really grateful to gather with you and ready ourselves for our respective June retreats. We’ll be gathering on Saturday 5/30 from 8:30a to 1:30p in the 43022 zip. Please register your participation below - contributions will be helpful to cover our costs to host, but not necessary.
During the week of our pre-retreat, we’ll send a few prep ideas and set a just few more expectations (but barely) - as Thoreau said, we all “need the tonic of wildness” and we definitely know that’s meaningful practice for June.
Our time will include some light movement, deep conversation, nurturing breakfast and lunch, and more. Every activity is an offer for a bit more intention and readiness for what’s ahead. Please connect with us at service@bakerroad.com if you’ve got questions.
